This comic is partially based on a true story. After putting up last years Hedgehog Day comic, I figured I'd go onto Wikipedia and do a little more research into the holiday. While there I remember seeing something close to what Sonic states. So I decided to hold onto that little tidbit of information to use in this comic. However, being fully aware of how trustworthy some of information is on Wikipedia, I decided I'd better recheck it before making this comic this year. And lo and behold the information was gone. Whether it was wildly inaccurate, or simply incomplete, I have no idea. But as a result, I changed the script to take a shot at Wikipedia, rather than just making fun of the holiday.

ha! The craziest things pop up on Wikipedia, one time I was reading up on UV light and found a paragraph that said something like "Scientists have determined that UV light is not made of photons, but little purple demons that have guns that give people cancer." It disappeared when I reloaded the page. Wikipedia isn't 100% accurate, but we can take some solace in the fact that its moderated well enough that jokes and mistakes are fixed, sometimes at least.

Reminds me of the time my friend went on an editing spree. He kept making entries end with "And he was totally gay for George Washington"
He got banned that day.

Yes... You made my day too!
I once looked up Don Bluth's "All Dogs Go to Heaven" on Wikipedia, and in a short section of it's article, it said that the film's controversial because it depicts smoking, drinking, murder, gambling, and *GASP!!* PROSTITUTION?!?! Those of you--like me--who know Don Bluth is Mormon and have seen the film KNOW this is untrue. Sure there are characters who smoke, one gets drunk and murdered, and certain important plot elements involve the characters gambling, but never is there any mentioning of... "that".
My advice to you all, take EVERYTHING you find on that site with a grain of salt! I'm only giving y'all a fair and proper warning!

Hey! Sonic 3&Knuckles isn't stupid! It's... important to me. I'm not a fan of the crap they've made recently, though. It's like they don't feel a need to make something that would capture the interest of the original fanbase they had for the series. They seem to be foretelling the downfall of the company. Also, I looked up Brandy and Mr. Whiskers on Wikipedia, and they messed up the storylines for some of the episodes. It's like the one who put that up hadn't seen the show for AGES! You really CAN'T rely on that site!
